If you require a wheelchair or elderly-friendly holiday rental in Spain, then look no further than our wheelchair adapted 2 bedroom apartment in the Colinas de la Zenia Elite urbanizacion in La Zenia, Costa Blanca. Colinas de la Zenia enjoys a quiet, relaxed location with its communal grounds and pool. 
Our disability-accessible apartment at Colinas de la Zenia benefits from many adapted facilities, to include disabled access via a gradual ramp leading into the property, and a walk-in wet room with shower chair and widened doorway. Of the two bedrooms, both are fitted with two single beds. There is also a sofa bed in the living area allowing the apartment to comfortably sleep up to six people.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes washing machine, oven, and fridge freezer. The apartment also benefits from air conditioning and extra fans.
 
There is a sunny balcony with table and chairs, which is the perfect spot for dining (and smoking). Please, no smoking indoors. There is also a front garden area and off-road parking space. 
Colinas de la Zenia Elite is a gated community which also offers two communal swimming pools and garden grounds.  An underground parking space is also allocated to this apartment. 
    
This ground floor apartment is fully equipped and has many other extras including sun loungers, beach chairs and a sun umbrella.  Indoor leisure facilities include satellite TV and DVD player, and various books and games. This is a great apartment that the whole family can enjoy.
 
The apartment is just an 8 minute walk from the beautiful Blue Flag beach at La Zenia.
Shops are also nearby, with just a 3 minute walk to two supermarkets, newsagents, and a restaurant. There are many pubs and restaurants within walking distance at La Zenia.  A few minutes drive away will take you to the Cabo Roig ‘strip’, Flamenca Beach, or Villamartin Plaza, all with an excellent range of bars restaurants.
 
The bustling town of Torrevieja is only 10-15 minutes by car and offers lots of shops, bars and restaurants, and a very long pier.
 
A beautiful marina has been developed on the cape of Cabo Roig with a tapas bar and restaurant between the beach and the marina giving a fabulous setting and wonderful views across the sea to La Manga to watch the sunset.
 
There are many beaches in the area, all with crystal clear waters and awarded the EEC Blue Flag for cleanliness. Many water sports including sailing, fishing, wind surfing, and, for the more adventurous, jet ski-ing, can be found in the area.
 
For the golf enthusiast, this is a prime area with golf being played all year, and offering championship courses in beautiful settings. Villamartin is less than 10 minutes by car, and within a further 15-20 minutes you can sample three other courses at Campoamor, Las Ramblas and the newly opened La Finca. All courses offer good golfing facilities, with varying difficulty to test all abilities. The world famous La Manga is also within 1 hour's drive.

Apartment Location

The apartment is a 25 minute drive from Murcia-San Javier Airport, and 45 minutes from Alicante, both of which are served by the major budget airlines.

Booking deposit 25%. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to holiday. Refundable damage deposit £200.
