This ground floor apartment is situated on a larger corner plot within El Chaparral, Torrevieja, South Costa Blanca. El Chaparral has several bars and restaurants, a newsagent, and grocery and hardware stores, all within walking distance. You will also find a car hire agent, but if you do not wish to rent a car, a local bus runs regularly (every 20-30 minutes) to the town centre and Carrefour hypermarket. There is a local market every day of the week.

The local aquapark, open during the summer months, is within a 10 minute walk of the apartment and, although small, is ideal for young children. A larger aquapark, suitable for all the family, is a few kilometers away. A short walk away, is the nature reserve and salt lake, which is a great spot for birdwatching. During the cooler months, this is also popular with walkers and cyclists. The nature reserve also provides a two hour walk to La Mata beach.

Several beaches are just 5 minutes away by car, or 10 minutes by bus, the closest being at La Mata, 3kms away. Guardamar beach, with its sand dunes, is around 12kms. There is a good local bus service, and the bus stop is just a short walk from the apartment.

There are several golf courses in the area, and five are within a 30 minute drive.
