Orlando

The Orlando climate is sub tropical, and the weather tends to be warm and humid. The low elevation also adds to the humidity level. There are two basic seasons in Florida: a hot summer season and a cooler winter season.

Temperatures during the summer can reach between 90 - 100 F. Summer is also the rainy season in Florida, and afternoon thunderstorms occur daily, usually around 4pm. They can last an hour or so, and once the storm has passed, the weather, once again, is glorious.

Hurricane season also occurs in the summer. The official hurricane season runs June through November.

In the winter, you will understand why Florida is called The Sunshine State. There is very little rainfall during this season, and most days are dry and sunny. The weather in the winter really is beautiful, and is a fabulous time to plan a trip to Florida.

The major theme parks are all around 10-15 minutes drive away from our villas, as are the shopping malls.
